First of all, Myriad and Noor are finally home. I went to Hillories farm may 14 th, stayed there for a week and got to know my horses little better. Theyre very friendly and social but unbroken still. That means we will have a lot to do when we get home. I tried with saddle and Myriad was fine, Noor a rodeohorse. Good to know. Duringvthose days i got 14 horses, 2 dogs 2 cats and 2 fishes ( one was swimming upside down and needed to be handfed) to occupie my days with. We also did some riding in Auburn and PT Reyes. Butiful days! The last day we trailer the horses to LA. Horses stayed at the quarantine there and i went to Alina Vale, a supernice friend that works as vet at the track there, she lent me her house. We cruised around Hollywood and had nice dinner in the evening. The morning before the flight i went out jogging on the beach, took a taxi to the airport and saw my horses loading in the ålane. Both eating and enjoying their busibessclass boxes since there were only them in a 3 horses container. I could be with them in take off and landing, feed them and give water. When we landed in Amsterdam it took several hours before we could load them in the truck and go to Amstel horsehotel. Girls could be out on a sand paddock and run around little, later at evening ibtook my flight back to Sweden ans said see youbon monday morning. It took them three days to arrive.
Theyre now happy in their new home, sound and we already started riding. Myriad is fine, Noor is bucking. Patience... When theyre in the walker i can give them shower and they love it, if i fill up water in their tray they demand me to shower them. CA girls wants to be pretty. Love them sooo much
Ganzir is out of his rest since the race, looks fitfat, or more fat as usual. He is sound and happy. We will start our training for Most ride, i hope to get in the team. Im having some ideas about doing a 80 with him before.
Miller is naughty like a 4 yrs child, questioning everything i do with him. Maybe time for next start...
I went to Newmarket for two days, and like girls going shopping in London i also had to get something nice. I found a lovely tall gelding, dark brown and handsome, he is for sure matching my brown boots haha. I will share him with a trainer at Täby and possibly another horseowner. Cool project. More news about him later, when he arrives to Sweden.
Also Gozch is improving. My dear friend Kattis needed a horse for the Swedish team champ 80 km and since i was working that weekend she could take Gozch. Pauline has been riding him during the days im travelling and she did it so well. So they finished the race slowly and i think Kattis was more tired than the horse after his showoff first 60 km. Now i need to let him do a 80* so he can keep his novis..... Gaaaa
My farriery skills are improving a little, im trying, watching, thinking and and torture myself. Jack, my new best friend..... a hoofjack helps me a lot. Like the alu shoes more than iron. Less power but more sensitive. Without clips looks sexy, toeclips are fun, sideclips disaster... Thank you Morgan fornyour patience with my 1 million questions every day.... Cant wait for next time learning from a pro...
So june and july will be about training Ganzir with a cool goal. Miller ready for flatrace and prepare for Derby in september. Girls needs to be ok with riding and maybe Gozch will do something fun soon. I have some ideas about travelling but nothing set yet...
